A tractor trailor fire has 81 south shut down at exit 131. Around 2:15pm, authorities got a call that a tractor trailor was on fire at mile marker 129 going south on 81 in Schuylkill County.

Traffic is being routed through Mahanoy City on route 54 and reports were there is heavy traffic congestion because of the flow of traffic.
There was also reports that the brush near the fire ignited.
As of 3:20pm, the fire is under control but Interstate 81 is still closed going southbound.
No word of any injuries or how the fire started.
